Storm Update
Tribeca Lighting was severly impacted by storm Sandy.
Ground floor had about 3'+ of water and basement storage was flooded from floor to ceiling until Friday (11/2/12) when it was pumped out. Power was restored late Saturday.
Much of our inventory needs to be cleaned, repaired and/or replaced. A lot of the sales inventory (Gel, Lamps, etc) needs to be replaced.
We are in the process of cleaning, sorting out damages, ordering new inventory and restoring operations as quickly as possible.
Many of our suppliers on the East Coast have also been effected (ROSCO, Altman Lighting, City Theatrical and many more).
Our phone service and e-mail are now restored.
If you tried to reach us via e-mail between 7:30 PM Monday October 29th and 10:00 AM Saturday November 3rd the message might not have been received.
Please resend any messages if needed.
We are doing our best to answer all calls, if you get our voice mail, please leave a message and we'll return your call as soon as possible.
For now we are asking that:
ALL returns come to our location at 145 6th Avenue.
(Loading door on Dominick Street below Spring Street)
CALL the office (212-226-0064) 15 minutes before you plan to arrive at that location so we can have someone there to meet you (not staffed full time).
For ALL orders to be picked up,
please contact us to discuss where & when the order will be ready.
The support and help we have felt is a wonderful reminder of why the New York community is so special and why we are privileged to be a part of it. As we continue the process of restoring, our thoughts are with everyone effected by the storm.
Some of the devastation of Tribeca Lighting was shown on ABC 7 NY News (towards end).
